My biggest fashion crush this season has to be winter pastels! From pink cotton candy jumpers, to parma violet coats, this trend has got me craving sweets! Gracing us with their presence on the Autumn/Winter catwalks this year, it looks like pastels are no longer just for spring! This trend really reminds me of cold winter snowy morning with rosy red cheeks and I can't wait to pair up a comfy lilac over sized jumper with a floral pencil skirt. Will you be wearing pastels this winter or do you think they are just for spring? Bargain Alert: I was in Primark yesterday and they have an array of pastel jumpers for £10! Rose Gold Perfume by Zara! #3
Meet my new favourite
perfume Rose Gold by Zara. I picked this up on a whim when I was in
Zara last, as I didn't want to be wearing my expensive perfumes every
day and at £12.99, it seemed a bargain not to be missed!
Since getting Rose
Gold, I have completely fell head over heels with this scent! Now I'm
not really a rose perfume kind of gal but the rose in this one is
very subtle and reminds me of a deep parma violet smell. Mmm, I love
parma violets! At first, I thought it was going to be summery but
once on the skin, it settles into a deep oriental autumn scent, ideal
for spraying on your scarf and snuggling your face into while you are
out walking about.
Zara describe it as:
“Zara Woman Rose
Gold by Zara is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women.
Zara Woman Rose Gold was launched in 2011. Top notes are
magnolia and green notes; middle note is orange blossom; base notes
are amber and musk.”
I'm pretty much pants
as distinguishing notes in perfumes and I certainly can't smell any
oranges or greenery in it. I do however agree with it being very
oriental and musky. The perfume comes in a super cute rose gold
bottle, with a twist down top, so you aren't accidentally squirting
it all about your handbag.
Talk about longevity,
this smell lasts and lasts.. and lasts! I can still smell it hours
later on my skin and stays on your clothes for days, giving you a
pleasant welcome whiff when you put your scarf on again the next day.
I find this amazing for a scent that cost me £12.99 for 70ml, some
of my expensive perfumes don't even last as long as this.
All in all, I adore
this perfume and highly recommend that you run to your nearest Zara
and give it a sniff. I will be stocking up next time I see it!
9/10 purrs
